School Construction in ethiopia.

From May 3 to 10, 2023, Foundation Chairman Christian Krämer and Managing Director Tilo Braune undertook a trip through Ghana, Benin and Ethiopia to meet potential partners for new school construction projects and to determine the actual need for new school buildings.

During the trip, we also traveled to the south of Ethiopia, to the rainforest region. There we were welcomed by two journalists from GEO magazine, who have been carrying out extremely successful reforestation projects for years as part of the "GEO saves the rainforest" foundation. The local school situation varies greatly. While there are well-functioning schools near towns, the situation in remote villages, which often have no electricity, is extremely precarious. Many small schools are inaccessible during the rainy season.

Determined to do something about it, we decided to find partners for the implementation of a new school building and then initiate a school construction project.
